Injection molding scene for Keyshot 9 and 3D models for Solidworks 2020

These files were created for the @weeklydesignchallenge + @realpreciousplastic collab
 

I'm not a toolmaker but decided to visualize a simplified mold with 4 cavities.

For the plastic, I used some of the materials I have in my Recycled Material Pack for Keyshot 9 available in my Gumroad profile

In the package you'll find:

1 Keyshot package containing:

• Different model sets containing environments for quick visualization and image setup for minimal post-editing
• 4 Mixed colors high-pressure sheet materials (those are multi-materials)
• 1 Injection molding flow materials with a lighter base
• 1 Rough metal material applied to the mold 
• 1 Model set with a cactus
  
  
• 1 Solidworks file containing the entire tree for all parts and features 

Note:

• This is a Keyshot 9 package, therefore not compatible with Keyshot 8 or previous versions
• You are free to use the materials for personal or professional projects, but not allowed to share or commercialize them
• This is a Solidworks 2020 file, therefore not compatible with previous versions

• Play around with texture mapping to get different effects. i.e., Planar mapping can deliver a good injection molding appearance depending on the shape of the model
